Endtime Year 21 

Ab Urbe Condita. Anno Hegirae. Anno Domini. I was taught this is how people used to count the passage of years. As for us, we start at the Endtime. We never use that word anywhere else. It’s best to forget, that’s what the Survivors say: there is nothing to learn from what has passed, nor from the Panic Terror that followed. But I know they’re wrong. The year is 21, and I have chosen to leave our New World in search of what was once the City.

Endtime Year 21 is a roleplaying game in which 3 to 5 players sit around a map and tell the story of their characters as they look for a new home in the same City where the end began. Together they will travel through the remnants of our world, devastated by a catastrophe, but trusting the signs left by those who came before won’t be enough to guarantee a safe journey. Because a map is not the territory.

 Finimondo Anno 21

Ab Urbe Condita. Dopo Cristo. Dall’Egira. Mi hanno insegnato che un tempo gli anni venivano numerati a partire da questi eventi. Noi li contiamo dal Finimondo. È l’unica occasione in cui lo citiamo. Meglio dimenticare, dicono i Sopravvissuti. Non c’è nulla da imparare da quanto è successo, né dal Terror Panico degli anni immediatamente successivi. Io, però, sono convinto che si sbaglino. Corre l’Anno 21 e ho deciso di abbandonare la nostra Nuova Civiltà. Per tornare alla Città.

Finimondo Anno 21 è un gioco di ruolo. Da 3 a 5 giocatori seduti intorno a una mappa racconteranno il viaggio dei loro personaggi alla ricerca di una nuova casa, nella stessa Città dove la fine ha avuto inizio. Insieme attraverseranno uno scampolo del nostro mondo stravolto da una catastrofe, ma affidarsi ai segni lasciati da chi li ha preceduti non basterà a garantire un viaggio sicuro. Perché la mappa non è il territorio.
